From A5/A488 - Shrewsbury to Bishop's castle Road - pass through Hanwood, Pontesbury and Minsterley and keep heading towards Bishop's Castle. Travel up through Hope Valley, eventually reaching a crossroads with a warning speed light. Turn left. Travel up Shelve Hill, passing Ladywell Mine monument on your right. Come down into the village, past Shelve Church on your left and No.2 The Longbarn is just past the white house, also on your left.
